Lisa McNamara

OWNER

Lisa and Jim opened the original MCN Salon in 1999. The salon rebranded in 2021 and Lisa is now proud to keep the same reputation in a new location.

Credentials: Lisa is a Vidal Sassoon designer, she has been part of the Framesi design team as a master colorist for over 15 years.

Specialty: Delivering and upholding a perfect balance of technical expertise, client care, and service with a progressive attitude and artistic vision. She also specializes in all aspects of color correction.

Motivation: Lisa’s passion is to coach each individual stylist on the importance of clear and concise communication during consultations which achieves an unparalleled experience for everyone.

Hobby: You will find her with her horses when she takes time away from the salon.

Jim McNamara

Master Designer

Credentials: Vidal Sassoon Trained, Framesi Certified Colorist, 25+ years experience

Specialty: Jim customizes each client’s look by paying extreme attention to design detail in all aspect’s “hair”. He is a cutting specialist and master at color correction.

Motivation: A lifelong commitment to Excellence.

Hobby: Jim can be found perfecting his game of golf

Kristen

Master Stylist

Credentials: Paul Mitchell Academy, Framesi certified, Bellami Extension certified, Brazilian Blowout certified, Kerastase Care Coach, 9 years experience

Specialty: Cutting, Extensions, Barbering

Motivation: making clients feel confident and educating them with “tips and tricks” to keep their hair looking great

Hobby: Running with her dog

Master Stylist/Educator

Credentials: Paul Mitchell Academy, Framesi Color Certified, Brazilian Blowout certified, 6 years experience

Specialty: Dimensional color

Motivation: Educating Guests on how to maintain and “replicate” salon hair

Steph- Stylist

Credentials: Paul Mitchell Academy, Framesi Color certified, Masters of Balayage, Masters of Blonding, 5 years experience

Specialty: Dimensional coloring and cutting

Motivation: Helping clients achieve and maintain their dream hair

Hobby: Spending time with friends and family

Lydia- Stylist

Credentials: Forbes Road Academy, CTC Training, Framesi color certified, Masters of Balayage, Masters of Blonding, has been in industry since 2019

Specialty: Special event styling and dimensional color.

Motivation: Being creative in my craft, bonding with clients and helping them achieve their dream hair.

Hobby: in her free time Lydia plays guitar and enjoys playing with her Pomsky Pistol.

Caroline- Stylist

Credentials: North Hills Beauty Academy, Masters of Blonding, 3 years experience

Specialty: Dimensional Color, Lived in looks

Motivation: Help each and every client achieve their healthiest and best hair

Hobby: Biking and trying new restaurants in the city

Emily- Stylist

Taylor

Manager

Taylor graduated from Bella Capelli cosmetology school in 2015 and started at MCN Salon that same year. A true team player, you can find her ready to greet you as you walk in the door. She will schedule your appointments and assist in any and all of your service needs.

Her smile is contagious! She takes pride in providing the utmost in client care! In her free time, she loves traveling and enjoying all Pittsburgh has to offer.
